Windle Mechanical Solutions Inc Excel Machine Division was founded in 1969. It has always had a reputation for excellence, quality and innovation.

In late 2006, Windle Mechanical Solutions Inc purchased Excel Machine. Pete Windle, CEO and Owner of Windle Mechanical Solutions Inc, made the acquisition because he saw Excel as a platform to build and grow with. Pete started his career on the floor of a machine shop in 1978. During his career, he worked his way up through supervisory, sales and management positions in a growing machine shop and rotating equipment repair/spare parts environment.

Prior to forming Windle Mechanical Solutions Inc, Pete was the Director of the Services Network in North America for a major OEM, responsible for the operations and sales of a large organization with several locations across North America. During his extensive corporate career, he had been involved with mergers & acquisitions, setting up new business units, driving quality, sales, and operational improvements in both North America and globally.

Pete decided to leave the corporate world and acquire a component manufacturing company of his own, so that he could apply over 30 years of hands-on knowledge and understanding of the industry to develop a truly unique Service Focused Component Part Manufacturer.

Since purchasing the Excel Machine Division, Pete has added, ISO 9001-2008 certification, installed new CAD CAM software, developed control processes and has nearly doubled the customer base. He survived the worst of the latest recession by staying focused on providing the right solutions to his customers on a regular and consistent basis.

In late 2010 Windle Mechanical Solutions Inc once again, continued its commitment to better servicing our customers through innovation, technology enhancements, and quality, by adding a new state of the art 2010 Haas VF3 CNC milling center.
